Format

The conference committee encourages presentations that are interactive. We are particularly interested in workshop-style formats that provide participants with an opportunity for in-depth discussion and engagement, the exchange of ideas, and sharing of best practices and stories.

Call for Proposals

Have a story, strategy, or expertise to share? We invite faculty and staff from Christian colleges and universities to submit a proposal to present at the conference.

Sessions run 60 minutes, including at least 15 minutes for discussion, and fall into one of three tracks:

Track 1: Rooted in Christ — Identity, faith, formation, resilience

Track 2: Growing in Calling — Seasons of leadership, purpose, vocation, discernment

Track 3: Leading with Courage — Challenges, authority, difficult conversations, change

*Note: Proposals are due December 11, 2026. Email your presentation title, track, a 250-300 word description, technology needs, and presenter information to AWILconference@indwes.edu.

Student participation is welcome and encouraged. Students can register for the conference or propose a presentation alongside a university representative.
